COOPERATION FOR DEVELOPMENT

Unity in Diversity: Fostering Social Inclusion Through V4-Georgia Collaboration

  

The joint initiative of Georgian, Czech, Slovak and Polish partners aims to promote an inclusive mindset in society by adapting successful practices from the V4 countries. Through piloting a tailored methodology and advancing qualification of educators, project address xenophobia, racism and hate speech in Georgia with focus on minorities and migrants.

Partners has developed a methodology specifically tailored to the needs of Georgian society concerning issues related to minorities and discrimination against migrants:

1) Adaptation of V4 Practices and their application through educational activities that includes regular meetings, systematic work addressing fears and prejudices, and interactive, age-appropriate teaching methods to eliminate xenophobia and potential racism manifestations. digiQ will enrich approach with necessary digital tools to defend and prevent children from hate speech.

2) Enhancing qualification of educators – special training program, developed by expert group from all partners will incorporate module content (OPU), tools (digiQ), and changing school environment (Edukator).

3) Supporting inclusive mindset among students - trained educators will apply knowledge and skills through educational activities with mentorship from project partners, promoting students as ambassadors of tolerance in their schools and role models for pairs in their communities.

4) Disseminating results through online tools and presenting to all stakeholder will result in increased trust in communities leading to social development.
