COOPERATION FOR DEVELOPMENT
Project name - Partnership for Public Administration Reform (P4PAR)
Project Goal - Reform at Local Level in Georgia (P4PAR) aims to use the National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia as a unique tool for local advocacy to enhance the role of civil society organizations in monitoring the implementation of the Public Administration Reform at the local level.
Implementation Strategy
To achieve this goal, the project will focus its efforts on three result areas: a) developing an effective and efficient system for monitoring the implementation of commitments undertaken by municipalities under PAR, based on the involvement of civil society organizations, b) facilitating dialogue on the implementation of PAR at the local level between the association, civil society organizations, municipalities, and the government, and c) ensuring the involvement of civil society organizations in the implementation of commitments taken by the local self-government bodies under PAR.
Target Municipalities/regions – Kakheti, Imereti, Guria, Ratcha-Letchkhumi, Svaneti, 26 municipalities
Project duration - 36 months
Project Partners - The project will be implemented by the National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia in cooperation with the international association Civitas Georgica and the non-governmental organization the "Management and Development Solutions Hub”
